Ok, this is the coolest article I’ve come across in a long time. It’s a list of 18 tricks that you can do when you’re in certain situations that help your body work the way you want it to. They help you take control of your body in neat ways. My favorite so far (I actually tried this last night) is #15: the one you use when your arm/hand falls asleep. Just rock your head from side to side, and it will wake up almost instantly, free from pins and needles. It’s because the nerves that control feeling in that part of your body are located in your neck, and probably are just compressed.
There are many more cool body hacks there, such as how to cure a brain freeze, easily stopping a nosebleed, controlling your heart-rate and how not to get a blister. It’s well worth the read.
