sketch-it.

sketch-it is a website that lets you submit a subject, pay $1 and have it sketched for you by one of about 13 sketch artists. They’ve been doing it since January and have sketched a variety of subjects. Have an idea, but can’t draw it? They probably can. For a dollar, you can’t go wrong. Definitely take a look at the archives to see everything they’ve already sketched. There’s some good stuff in there.
Also… is anyone out there interested in buying a Mac Mini? It’s got a 1.33Ghz PowerPc processor, 512 mb of RAM and 40GB of hard drive space, and is only about 3 months old. I’ve only used it to code Rails projects. It’s like new and will come with the original box, cds, manuals and cables. I’m going to put it on eBay at the end of this week, but I figured I’d offer it to you guys first. Email me at the tips link above if you’re interested.

I’m designing some wedding invitations for some friends right now. I bought a sketch of an “outdoor wedding” just for fun and to see if it would work somewhere in the design of the invitations. I read through their policies and it seems like that is a legitimate use.
Somebody should buy Richard’s Mac Mini and do this.
