One of the good things about Google buying everything up these days is that they usually offer the product for free later on. This is exactly what has happened in the case of SketchUp, a fairly well known drawing program. SketchUp is a quick and dirty 3D modeling program that lets you create 3D representations of pretty much anything you can imagine, and is available totally free of charge.

    We use sketchup at work (Pro version). It’s a neat and easy to use program, but the free version will be great to have at home. Thanks for the info. I’m downloading it tonight when I get home.
