Services, Useful Things, Websites by Richard

loopnote is a nifty way to do pretty much what it’s name suggests: keep people in the loop about things that are going on. We’ve all sent emails and CC’ed a few other people on them, or sent an SMS to multiple recipients… but to do so, you have to keep track of who uses what services, who would rather receive an IM than a text message, and so on.

It allows you to send short notifications to everyone on your list via their preferred platform, whether it’s email, instant messaging, SMS or RSS, at the same time. I’ve played around with it a bit tonight and it seems like a very powerful tool to do something very simple… my favorite kind. It’s got all sorts of options, statistics, tagging, the ability to have private and public loops the ability to get user feedback on your loops, and much more. I’m sure I’ll be using it in the future.
