Ficlets.

by Richard

Ficlets are short stories that harness the power of the internet to create stories that never end. Here’s what they have to say about it: “A ficlet is a short story that enables you to collaborate with the world. Once you’ve written and shared your ficlet, any other user can pick up the narrative thread by adding a prequel or sequel. In this manner, you may know where the story begins, but you’ll never guess where (or even if!) it ends.”

Sounds like fun to me! Go write the beginning of a story and see what others do with it, add your own thoughts to someone else’s story, or just browse around the site and check out what others have written.

Sounds like an interesting idea. Fictionville.com tried the same thing several years ago. Unfortunately, the Fictionville site was not a success.
