the Sampler.

If you love indie design and products, but just can’t make up your mind about what to buy because there is just so much great stuff out there, the Sampler may be for you. It’s been around for years now, but I just found out about it. Basically, it’s a great way to get randomized cool stuff from a hand-picked bunch of indie retailers. The Sampler prices are as follows:

US subscribers:
– 1 Month: $23
– 3 Months: $58

International subscribers:

– 1 Month: $29 USD
– 3 Months: $76 USD

There’s also a great gallery featuring previous Samplers, so you can see the types of stuff you get in a Sampler, and even browse individual retailers if you ‘d like to buy something in particular.

I’d always heard of people getting such great stuff … and when I ponied up my $23, I got absolute crap. Serious junk. And it all smelled like foul soap since it was packaged with some really foul smelling soap. Not a happy customer.

Wow! Haven’t heard that from anyone yet… Did you contact them, and did they try to make it right?

Proceed with caution, I suppose. I’ve heard nothing but good stories so far from people who’ve subscribed, except for this comment. Hopefully your experience was an anomaly. :-/
