Silicone Brush.
by Chris CoyierI had a plan to BBQ some ribs today, so I stopped into our Sam’s Club and snagged a couple monster racks for a good price. Then got dragged to Bed, Bath, & Beyond, which really is kind of a cool place for kitchen gadgetry. While I was there I found this great basting brush where the bristles are made from silicon instead of fibers. Pretty darn smart if you ask me. I’m not trying to paint a masterpiece here, I’m trying to get some dang BBQ sauce on some dang ribs. Here are the advantages:
- Doesn’t get all gross and permanently stained red
- Doesn’t absorb flavors
- Dishwasher safe
- Heat resistant to 500-Degrees F
- Hole in the handle for grill-hangage
- Cheap ($6.95)
