A Fine Frenzy.
by RichardA Fine Frenzy is the music of Alison Sudol, a 22 year old singer/songwriter/pianist who has lyrical gifts beyond her years. I became an instant fan after watching a YouTube video (sadly, it was removed recently) of her playing one of the songs on her debut album, One Cell in the Sea. That is all. Her music speaks for itself.

How many times has my own heart sung this song? Too many to count. Talk about flash backs of emotions and memories. What a beautiful bittersweet song. I think I’ll check out her cd ;) Thanks for the post.

Richard,
My girlfriend and I *just* happened upon Alison this past weekend, when she opened for Rufus Wainwright in Dallas. She was amazing.
It was just her, her piano, a drummer, and a guy on keyboards, and she did a brilliant job. I’ve listened to her CD a few times through, and it’s incredible (I’m actually burning a copy of it as I type this!).
If you get a chance, definitely go see her live – well worth whatever the price of admission was/is.
