Moosewood Cookbook.

by Chris Coyier

Between me and my 10 closest friends, I bet there are 6 copies of this cookbook. It’s kind of like the bible of vegetarian cooking. I’m not even a vegetarian, mind you, but I find that vegetarian cooking is often more inventive and just as delicious. And of course, altering the recipes to meat them up is usually a fairly simple matter (add meat).

The whole book has a nice casual tone which is emphasized by the fact that it is completely handwritten. It is written by Mollie Katzen and is available from Amazon for a reasonable $13.57 right now.

ed: Sorry about the lack of posts this weekend. I’m moving to a new place and the internet at my old place got cut off a few days early, unexpectedly. In any event, we’re back now!
