Design, Gadgets, Useful Things by Richard

I’ve been playing around with the POWERSTICK from Ecosol, and it’s a pretty darn nifty device with a simple purpose: charging your gadgets on the go. It’s a small battery pack that charges via your USB port and can then output its power to just about any small electronic device that you may have around. Forgot to charge your phone last night? No problem, Ecosol has included adapters for Sony Ericsson, LG, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Blackberry, iPod/iPhone, and the generic and ubiquitous Mini-USB.

I like the design as well… it’s got an easy to read gauge on top that shows its charging status with helpful E (Empty) and F (Full) indicators, so you know how much juice is in the POWERSTICK at any time. It’s also very easy to use: Find the adapter for your device and plug it into the charging port. Plug the other end of the adapter into the POWERSTICK. Press the Power button on the POWERSTICK, and your device immediately begins charging. Ta-da!

If you’re interested in picking one up, the POWERSTICK will run you $69.95.
