PatientsLikeMe is the first that I’ve seen of a new breed of medical websites, where people can share their experiences with other people who are taking the same medicines and have the same afflictions as they do. Basically, it allows people to find out the best way to live and have a better quality of life when they are diagnosed with major, life altering diseases. Now this is a web app worth spreading the word about!
