I love this. I mean, sure, you could put a light fixture inside anything that was big enough (and this kind of makes me wish I had those skills – toaster night-light, anyone?), but to turn the tables on an object that was originally designed to take in and record light is just really smart. I think it would have the effect of making you feel very “watched” in your own home, like having a spotlight trained on you that was also a camera. In fact, the more I think about it the more they creep me out.

As far as I can tell, they are only concepts at the moment, so they aren’t for sale. I guess I can sleep easy.
