Griffin WindowSeat.
by RichardI’ve been testing the new WindowSeat from Griffin for a few of days and I’m loving it. It’s just about the most sturdy mount I’ve ever used in my car, and I’ve used my share of windshield mounts… I even have the Dash Express mounted in my car (it weighs nearly a pound).
I wouldn’t want to mount my iPhone or iPod touch on anything that I thought wasn’t stable, but I have no doubts about putting anything into the WindowSeat. The WindowSeat uses a series of ball-and-socket joints to let you adjust your device easily, while keeping it securely in position once you do decide on a position. It’s a great value at $29.99 too, as it comes with a mounting disk for optional dash attachment, the basic mount, an extension arm for the mount (in case you have a long car or short arms), snap-in holders for the iPhone, iPhone 3G and the iPod touch, and even an auxillary cable in case you want to connect your device to your car stereo. Highly recommended!
