This would be a great way to get specific clips and quotes out … you’d just have to have a good idea where in the movie it is, but would certainly save you the time of loading your DVD in, cutting the audio up and etc. I know i”ve blown a lot of time over the years trying to get a half-remembered line from a movie to use for a podcast and the like.
