Ice skating, plant growing, and more.

Diversions, Reasonably Priced by Adam

It’s that time of year again. The snow is falling, people are putting on snow tires, and the Northeast looks like Antarctica. (Or, at least, that’s how it appears from far away…) Whatever can one do to pass the time and have fun, without spending a billion dollars to fly to Mexico or Hawaii? Here are some ideas.

Make an ice-skating rink in your backyard.
Grow your veggies at home, with this expandable hydroponics system.
Build an igloo, if you’re up for a workout.

When I was but a wee lad in the Great White North, we made igloos and ice ricks all the time. Some of the best fun ever.

I remember building ice rinks and igloos growing up in the Great White North. We didn’t have much in the way of hydroponics though. Maybe iceponics?
