This is nothing short of amazing. MIchael Pritchard has invented a water bottle/filtration system that converts even the dirtiest water into crystal clear, drinkable water in seconds, working on the principle of a microscopic filter that has holes too small for bacteria, viruses and other contaminants to fit through. You can literally pour pond scum into one side and get perfectly good water out of the other. Imagine not having to truck water to places that need it. Imagine people in third-world countries without access to clean water nearby not having to go on a day-long journey to get water. This is unbelievably cool, and the technology is relatively inexpensive. This will truly change lives.
